The Tumusiime Mutebile Foundation

The Emmanuel Tumusiime-Mutebile Foundation (TMF), a company limited by guarantee with no share capital, was originally incorporated on 20th July 2016. The Foundation was legally renamed “The Tumusiime-Mutebile Foundation” on February 21st, 2018. As per the Constitution of the Foundation, its original objects (purposes) were to:

  • Promote private sector capacity in Uganda and sub-Saharan Africa 
  • Be competitive globally in industrial growth through focused research, information and knowledge management for transformative and alternative solutions, enhanced skills and professional practice of the labour force for quality, productivity and competitiveness of the private sector, thereby increasing choices and opportunities for employment, income and wealth.

The Vision of TMF is “A Better World for Everyone.

Emmanuel envisioned a world where one’s capabilities touched people’s lives. “If we all live up to this mantra, we will indeed be ‘Gifts to the World.’” January 1st 1983.
