Dr. Donald Kaberuka, a prominent economist and development finance expert, served as the 7th President of the African Development Bank (2005–2015), leading major initiatives in infrastructure, private sector growth, and regional integration. Formerly Rwanda’s Finance Minister (1997–2005), he implemented key reforms aiding post-genocide recovery. With over 30 years in economic policy, he has advised the UN, World Bank, and IMF. Currently, he chairs the SouthBridge Group and joined The Tumusiime Mutebile Foundation Board in 2022. Kaberuka holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Glasgow and has earned global recognition, including Forbes Africa’s 2014 Person of the Year.
