General Timothy Mutebile Sabiiti (Rtd.)

General Timothy Sabiiti is a distinguished military leader and security strategist with 33 years of service in Uganda’s armed forces. As former commander of the UPDF engineering brigade, he significantly contributed to national security, regional peacekeeping, and military diplomacy. His expertise bridges security, governance, and development, making him a strong advocate for sustainable peace in Africa. In 2017, he joined the Tumusiime Mutebile Foundation to support evidence-based policy, institutional development, and inclusive growth. Gen. Sabiiti’s leadership continues to influence stability and strategic development across the region.
